Our Christmas Card and Letter 2011

This is what we did for our Christmas Card this year. I thought it turned out so cute! Thanks to a great friend who took awesome pictures and 2 sisters who put the card together :) We wanted our letter to let everyone know how thankful we are for all the many blessing that were showered upon us this year! We are better people because of all of you and we are eternally grateful! We are looking forward to the new year and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our family! Happy new year everyone!!

Our year started out with a tragedy. Loosing our house in the fire was one of the hardest things we have ever experienced, but knowing that everything that mattered most was standing outside, was the greatest blessing. Material things did not matter at that point, the only thing that did was each other. We continued to be blessed by family, friends, and complete strangers. We saw the compassion and good hearts of so many people. We know we can never repay everyone that helped us, but we are going to pay it forward and help others. We saw how our relationships with others are the most important. As the holiday season approaches, we can't help but feel so blessed! We truly believe that things happen for a reason. The Lord has a plan and we have to have faith that things will work out. Through faith, family, friends, and the gospel, we have been so blessed! We would like to thank you for all the prayers, love, and support to help us get back on our feet. We couldn't have done it with out you! We love you all! May this season bring you all Joy and Happiness!!!

After Christmas Visiting

We went and spent a few days at moms. The kids always have a good time and there is never a dull moment!
The kids all like to get water out and most of the time they end up making a big mess....it makes them so happy.
After Shiree's family left, Gracie and Leah hung out with Arden.
They had so much fun pushing each other around in the carts...
Mayzie was unsure at first, but then she loved it!

The kids love to ride the horses when we go down there. It's always a highlight!

Chriatmas Day

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve,Grandma Seely thought it would be fun to have the same kind of food that Jesus would have had when he walked on the earth. We had all sorts of cheeses, meats,breads, grapes, olives, humus, quinoa salad, and lots of other things. We even ate by candle light. I think the kids thought it was ok, but we don't know if they put the concept together. Next year I think we will do something a little more simple :)

Isabelle got to be Mary this year. She loved it...

This is how it ended..... I think it was more calm when Jesus was born......

Emma, Shoph, Mariah, and Ammon all slept over at our house. We went to bed at midnight and the kids didn't get up till 8:00 which shocked us all, but we were waiting for grandma and grandpa to get done with papers, so it worked out great! Emma said Sophie woke up at 5:30, but they kept her in bed till 7. I had a hard time sleeping! I was so excited for the kids and couldn't wait till morning:)

Gracie and Leah both got an "older" doll. They didn't want a baby one...
Isa got her baby alive. She was so excited!

Daniel loves Lego and will spend hours building and playing with it. So, new sets are so exciting! We found out that Addison got the same ship and we had no idea that they were getting the same one!
Mayzie loved this little bear!

The kids got a new kitchen this year. I think it is so cute!

We had a great Christmas this year and we feel so blessed! I definitely felt the Saviors love and am truly grateful for this time of year and for family!

Ward Christmas Party

Our ward party turned out good. The kids all got to see Santa which was a highlight. Gracie didn't want to sit on his lap, but she took Mayzie up there and so she ended up getting a turn. Mayzie did good, she didn't get scared at all!
Mrs. Clause was so cute!

Isa was excited to see him all week. She asked me all the time when she was going to see him, then when she finally got to, she would not go see him. She was so scared and we could not talk her into it. When Santa got done with all the kids, he came off the stage to visit a little sweet girl in a wheel chair. When he got done he passed Isabelle and started to talk to her and she sat on his lap, although she would not talk to him.........her face says it all don't ya think?
The kids all participated in the nativity. Gracie was Mary, Leah was an angel, Daniel was a Shepard and Isa was in the choir. They all did great!

Mayzie kept going and looking at all of them.......

I love that they get opportunities to do these kinds of things and reminds them what Christmas is all about.

Desmond's Blessing

We made gingerbread houses last night for family home evening. We had a hard time getting the roof to stay on, so we ended up doing flat roved houses. I think they still turned out cute! After words we had a fun lesson. It was a good night!

We had fun the other night making cookies. The kids thought it was fun to decorate them, in between eating them :) They were really good! We got the recipe from daddy's auntie Hannah and she got it from auntie Rachel...so Thanks!!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

I love this time of year! I love the cold weather, the smells,(like cinnamon, pine trees, burning wood in the fire place, and all the good food), the warmth of a fire, and the joy that fills the air. I love reflecting on the savior and all the blessings that come from living the gospel. It is just my favorite time of the year! I love seeing the excitement in my kids faces and watching them do good things for each other. I am looking forward to Christmas!!!

My kids made this cute nativity all by themselves......I love it! I am having a hard time getting a good picture of our tree. Daniel made some decorations, one of which is the big yellow star :)
I always love my village. I want to add more pieces this year..

We have had this Nativity since we got married. Verns grandma and grandpa gave it to us. I love it and wish I had more pieces to it too, but I can't find them, so for now this is it...

Thanksgiving

We got some family pictures taken and I think they turned out pretty good! I love this one of my mom and dad :)

I had the best weekend with my family this year! We had lots of good food, we spent time together visiting while the kids ran the farm, we went shopping and got some great deals and to top it all off, we got to have Lance sealed to us. We also stayed and did several other names as a family. It was so amazing! I felt the spirit so strong this weekend and felt so much gratitude for all the blessings that we are blessed with and for being a part of this family!
We were able to get a family picture taken, we have not all been together for at least 5 years, so it was good to get one:) This is just a snap shot, I can't wait to see the actual pictures!

After dinner several of the Teerlinks came for a visit. It was good to visit with them!

We went to Vegas to do Black Friday shopping and at first I was nervous to go to a bigger city, but it was a great experience! People were friendly and we got in and out without any trouble. We had a great time and we got some good deals, which is the best part :)
I love spending time with my sisters, even though there were only a few of us together..... we had a blast! I don't love these pictures of me, but they are the only ones we have..

The kids had another good year of trick or treating! We had fun with the costumes! I thought they all turned out great!! Daniel has been a rodeo clown for years and it is still cute on him! Leah decided to be a geek, Gracie, an old lady, Isa, a princess, and Mayzie, a little lamb.

Chance and Gracie thought it would be fun to be an old couple :)

It is not easy to get pictures of everyone looking at the camera...but I got lucky a few times:)

Daddys, Uncle Ammon

Because there are 2 uncle Ammons, we have to say which one we are talking about. There are several other names we half to do that with too. Ammon was heading back to Canada, so we got a couple pictures before he left. We all miss having him around! The kids all love him and he is so wonderful with them! He is always playing with them and he makes them all feel special! He is awaiting his mission call and we can't wait to see where he is going!We love you Ammi, and we hope we get to see you for Christmas.....:)

We had an early Halloween party, so Ammon could be here for it. He came for a visit and so did Kim and Josh. It has been fun getting to see them!

Allison is Here!

Hanna had her precious baby girl on Saturday. She was one of her smaller ones, weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 22 inches long. I got to go see her come into the world. It was a special experience and I am glad they let me be a part of it! We love you little Allison!!

Molly came for a visit and so she had to see the baby before she left, so I hitched a ride with her and Rachel. Little Laila is 2 weeks old, so it was fun to take pictures of them together!

Number 9

We celebrated Leahs birthday on Friday. I made this cake for her, because I could not come up with another idea. She loved it though and that's all that matters!
She got to have a friend over and some cousins of course! We all had fun! The kids talked us into having a sleep over, so Amy took Daniel, Emma took Isabelle, and we kept Chance. Danielle ans Leahs friend Bailey slept over too. They all had a great time! Chance and Gracie spent most of their time building a fort in the trees. Leah and Bailey made bracelets and then they all played school. We had a really good weekend :)
I love this picture of Leah! It is so her! It's hard to believe she is 9! Here is a few things about Leah: She loves animals, stuffed animals, teasing, her family, school (she is a very good student and likes to get all her assignments done and get good grades), and she loves to help with Mayzie. She keeps us laughing daily and we just love her so much!!
It was Grandpas birthday on Friday, so we sang to him too and he had a different cake that was not all flowerey:) Here he is singing happy birthday to himself with all the kids...lol.

The First Freeze

We had our first freeze last week. It seems way too early for it to be freezing! We covered up our tomatoes and squash so they would not freeze. It worked well!

Temple

I got the opportunity to go to the Temple with Mel and Brianna last weekend. I am so glad that I got to experience that special day with them! It was such a beautiful day! The spirit was so strong and I feel so blessed to be a part of such and amazing family! I looked around at my family and felt so blessed! Not everyone was able to make it and we missed all of them! The sealer was so good and I learned so much! He explained things in a way that I have never heard. We were all so emotional! I try to keep the tears from coming, but it is and was impossible! It was a beautiful day!! I can't wait until Vern can go with me again and he can share these special experiences!

Daniel turned 7 last week. Next year he will be able to get baptized. I can't get over how fast time flies! He wanted to go to Grandma Bundys for his birthday, so we did.. I attempted to make owl cupcakes. The kids thought they were fun :)

He got lego and was so excited! Kaden was too :)
We had cake with Amys boys and Grandma and Grandpa Seely the next day.

We love our little Daniel! He loves: Lego, cars, tools, animals, his sisters, to tease, torment, hug, get into our bed in the morning, box his dad, anything with caramel, and he loves to talk. Vern says he gets the talking part from me, which I am sure he does:) He makes our lives exciting and we love him so much!!

We play a lot outside and the kids love to play in this bucket of water. Most of the time it is just Isabelle, Mazyzie and I, while the other kids are a t school. The put rocks, dirt, barbies, or what ever else they can think of. It keeps them busy for a long time. Mayzie was thinking it was a little cold..

I have so many pictures on my phone, when I don't have my camera, I have my phone. The pictures are random, but fun at the same time.

Leah was so excited on the first day of school, that she laid her clothes out the night before like this......
Daniel did a self portrait of himself.... I LOVE it :) They are the Diamond Backs at school, hence the snake in the corner......It makes me smile every time I look at it!

This is our first pumpkin out of our garden. Isn't is so perty?? I couldn't find any canned pumpkin at the store, so we used one of our own to make muffins. These pumpkin cheese cake muffins were really good! I love fall so much! The cooler weather, the leaves changing colors, the feeling in the air.... I just love it! I can't wait to carve our own pumpkins for Halloween!

Sunday Pick nick

Our Garden

Our garden is kind of small this year, but it is doing so good! Some things are doing better than others, but for the most part it is doing well. We have more squash and zucchini than we know what to do with. Our tomatoes are finally producing and this is the first time we have ever planted corn or pumpkins and they are both growing really well!! Our beans didn't produce a lot, nor did the carrots, but this year was our trial run and it will be better next year. Still, I love to watch things grow!

This is our pumpkin patch and some peppers.....Look how tall our corn is....it really makes me happy!! :)

Dinner Time

Primary Program

Today was our primary program in our ward. I was so pleased with how well my kids did! Isabelle was to shy, so her teacher said it for her, but the other kids said their parts with out help:) Gracie had to tell the story of the first vision and bear her testimony and she did awesome! A few weeks ago I had to speak and I was terrified and only said parts of the thing I really wanted to say. Watching my beautiful kids get up there with no fear and do their parts was so wonderful to me! I hope they can always speak and not be afraid! I love them all so much and hope they always have the spirit with them and grow up with strong testimonies! I have to say, that one of the greatest part of being a mom, is getting to watch your kids grow into little people and to see the world through them! It was a great program today!!

Zucchini Boats

We have been getting a lot of Zucchini out of our garden lately and I have been looking for new ways to use it. So for dinner I found a recipe called zucchini boats, that sounded like fun, so I made them and they were pretty good! Plus the kids thought they were fun too. So if any of you would like to try it go to tastykitchen.com and search zucchini boats and you should find it. I love trying new things! I have some more things I want to try, so I'll let you know if there are any more good ones:)
I made some garlic bread to go with it......because it is always good!!

Back to School

We have started a new school year already! This summer went by so fast! they all came home saying how much they loved their new teachers, which I was happy about. I am looking forward to them learning more this year!! Just for my record: Gracie is in 5th........sigh.....I wish time would slow down a little!

Baker Lake

We went to the lake this weekend and we had a blast! The weather was perfect and so was the water! I want to do this a lot more! I also improved my tan, which is always nice :)

The spot that we picked was nice because it was shallow for quite a ways and so we put our chairs right in the water. Mayzie thought it was the greatest thing and she sat there for the longest time. After a while she thought she would try to stand up.......

We just celebrated Gracie and Isabelle's birthday. They are one day apart. I don't know how I got so blessed to have these 2 beautiful girls in my life! They are a true blessing! Gracie is so creative and loves to draw and anything else that has to do with creating. She makes us laugh and is such a big help! She loves it when she gets to be in charge and does a really good job! I can't believe that she will be 12 next year! The thought really scares me! I am not ready for my kids to grow up so fast, but like it or not, it is happening and we a re enjoying watching them grow into the wonderful people they are! Gracie you are beautiful on the inside and out and we love you so much!!

Isabelle is 5. We decided not to send her to kindergarten until next year. I think she will do better and she will not be one of the younger ones, so I like that. Right now she is into anything princess! She loves dressing up and playing barbies. She loves to sing and is always doing it. She is a good help! She is a little mother and loves to help with Mayzie. She always says, " when I am a mother".....and then asks the question. She brings a smile to our faces daily! We love you so much beautiful little Isabelle!!!

Summer visitors

We love having family over! Hanna and her kids came and had a sleep over on Monday and Bailey and Josh stopped by too. We had so much fun! Shiree and Duke and their family came over on Wednesday and we had a good visit! We have missed them and it was so good to see them!! Daniel has been asking for MaCoy forever, so he was so excited to see him!We love you guys! We hope to see you soon!

This picture has special meaning, because when my mom was little it was used for baths and to heat water in. For as long as I can remember it sat on my grandmas wood burning stove. So I love that we get to have fun pictures taken with it:)

Time goes by way to fast! I still remember feeling like she was never going to get here! Now it feels like we have always had her in our family. The word I feel like describes her best is, Delightful. She truly is delightful in every way! I was talking to my dad a while back and he was talking about when he grew up, they would always say that with each baby that was added to their family, that that one was the most loved. Only because there was more of them to love. I really love that, because I feel like that is how it is with Mayzie. There are so many of us to love her and she has brought us all so much joy! With this many kids there is so much love to go around and I feel so blessed to be their mom! We love our little Mayzie!! She is, like I said, so delightful!!!
I think her cake turned out so cute! I saw this cake months ago and wanted to try and make it:)
She loved digging in it and pulling off all the candies.....

Not are not only moving and starting a new job clear across the country, but they just welcomed their new baby Desmond Charles into their family. He is so precious and we are all so sad that they are moving so far away, but at the same time we are happy for them! We love you both and your little family and we will miss you so much!!

Bundy Reunion 2011

We had such a great time at the reunion this year! The kids were dirty and not ready to come home. We were missing 3 families from our camp and we missed them all! We had fun eating, racing, dancing and spending time together! Gracie learned how to drive Ryan and Angie's 4- wheeler and loved giving all the kids rides on it. Her and Jamie took turns and it filled up their days. I still love going to the Bundy reunion and am so glad that my kids get to experience the same things I did growing up! We are already looking forward to next year:)

We went and spent the day at my moms yesterday. The kids played at the pond the whole day. We all had a good time! My mom bought this cowboy hat on line and did not realize that the top was so high. So we put it on the kids and they loved it :) Braxton and Rebekah's pictures are good, but Mayzie's is a little blurry...

Happy Fathers Day!

I just want to say Happy Fathers Day to my dad, my father in-law, and my wonderful husband! I am so blessed to have such a great dad! He is one of the greatest guys I know and I love him so much! Vern has a pretty great dad too! We both got lucky in that department! I have to say that Vern is such a good dad! I feel so blessed today, getting to focus on dads and how lucky I am to have such good dads in my life! I love them all!!
Today in church, Slade Hughes asked if Vern would come in primary and help out for singing time. He was a little hesitant, but he went anyway. Slade's wife is the song leader and she does a great job. Anyway she had 4 dads sit in the front of everyone and do the actions to the songs. I got to see the last part of it and I loved it! It was so fun to see Vern doing all the actions to songs like "Do as I'm Doing" and " If Your Happy and You Know it." She had swimming noodles that some of the kids got to use to bop the dads on the head during the songs and every time they got bopped, they had to open their mouths. It was pretty entertaining! The kids all loved it! As well as the teachers :) I love you honey! Thanks for being such a great dad!!

It was Averys's birthday today and they wanted to come and go swimming in the pool here in town, so Jim asked if they could have her little party at our house. They had a pinata, swam and had all sorts of fun playing together!

We went to the pool the other day and had a really good time. At this pool there is a river right next to it, so you can swim for a while and then go play in the river. We fun and I am sure we will go a few more times this summer!

After we got the chores were done, we decided to go to the park. We didn't get all dressed up, but we had a good time :) It was nice to break the day up and do something different. I love my kids so much!! Time is going by too fast!

So for Miahs last day here we decided to go to the lake. It was so much fun! The kids didn't want to leave and honestly, I could have stayed way longer too!! We all got a little sun and lots of sand in lots of places...:) We are going to miss her lots! We had fun with her! Love you Miah!!

We went and spent a few days at mom and dads. Hanna came too and we all had a lot of fun! The kids lived in their swimming suits and mud the whole time. Rachel, Bailey, and Brianna came and hung out too. It was nice to just relax and let the kids run the farm!

A Good Way To Spend The Weekend!

Yesterday some of Verns family came up and helped us build a chicken run. Mariah came for a visit, so we got to spend some time with her.The weather was perfect, we got some sun, did some work, had dutch oven and spent time with family........that all makes for a really good day!!

Lex and Tobin had fun playing with potatoes. Tobin filled his dump truck with them. He pushed that thing all over. It brought back memories of when Daniel was little. He used to push it all over too.
These two had all sorts of fun. They had little pocket knives and had fun carving sticks and looking for an animal to eat :) They were both dirty from head to toe!

Daniel graduated from kindergarten this week. He has had a great teacher and has learned so much! He is growing up so fast! He is so excited to go to first grade. I can't handle how fast they grow up! He did a good job at his program.....
We will really miss this school! They were so good to us. They really bent over backwards to work with our crazy schedule. Living in a different town was a little tricky when it came to school, but thanks to my wonderful mother in-law, the kids were able to finish the school year at their and not have to switch. All of their teachers did things to make it easier for us. Daniel was able to go all day and his teacher took such good care of him! Thanks so much East Elementary, We will miss you!!!

Not only have I been blessed with the most amazing mom and a wonderful mother in-law, but I have some pretty amazing sisters, sister in-laws, and friends! I have so many good examples all around me, who show me and teach me how to be a good mom. You are all such good role models and I am a better person because of all of you!! I hope you all had a great mothers day!

The first time Vern bought me flowers, they were the most beautiful ones I had ever seen, in fact my grandma Turner was visiting and she was so impressed, that she told me I should marry him! He has always given me beautiful ones. Well I haven't gotten any for a long time, so I was surprised when he got me some for Mothers day. Like usual they are perfect! I don't know what it is about flowers, but they make my day! They just make me smile!
The pictures really don't do them justice......and you can't smell them......I love the way they smell.

We decided for the last 3 weeks of school, it would be best for the 3 older kids to finish where they are at, so in order to do it, they have to stay with Verns mom and dad 4 days out of the week. It has been really hard for me to not have them! I really do not like it, but it has been good for them to be able to continue where they are. So during the week, it is just Isabelle, Mayzie and I. Vern is still working out of town 4 days a week as well. So, I really do not like it and I can not wait until school is out, so we can all be together! I am so grateful that they are well taken care of and that they can finish in the school they are used to. It is also a huge blessing to have such a good job! Vern really enjoys the guys he works with and he has a great boss! That in it self is a blessing! We are loving our new place! We just got our garden planted, it is small, but I am glad we have one! I look around our house and can't help but think that 2 months ago we lost everything and because of so many good people, we have every thing we need! Lately, I have just felt so grateful, blessed, and so loved! I have had this song in my mind lately, "I feel my Saviors love," that really sums up how I have been feeling. I have always felt it, but the last few months it has been really strong. I know the lord put us in certain places at certain times to prepare us for this. He really does have a plan and that we have been so blessed!!

The other day Isabelle wanted to bring the little car in and play with Mayzie. They had so much fun riding around!Mayzie thought she was a big girl :)

Leahs Baptisim

Last Saturday was Leahs Baptism. She shared her special day with Ethan. We had 2 really good talks, given by my mom and Shirley. I felt the spirit in the room and it brought back memories of my Baptisim. I loved looking over at the two of them in their white clothes, so pure and innocent. I want them to stay that way forever! That is just the mom coming out in me, but it was a beautiful day and am so proud of their decision to be baptized. It is hard to see my kids get older, but at the same time it is so wonderful to see them grow. Leah is so full of life and always makes us smile. We love her so much!!! Our New House

We are really enjoying our new house!! It feels so good to have a place of our own again! It is going to take some time for it to feel like our home, because none of it is our stuff. Well, it is now, but it will take some getting used to. A month and a half ago we lost everything and now you would never know it. We are so blessed to have everything we need!! We have moved a lot since we have been married and I knew that the Lord had a plan and that he would guide us and I know now that he put us in certain places at certain times to prepare us for this. We have met so many good people and they have all stepped up and helped us in ways we could have never imagined! Besides all the help we got from our families. We are truly blessed to have such amazing family and friends!! I know I sound like a broken record, but thank you all so much, we could never say thank you enough!!!

Some of the Leftovers...

We rummaged through the house trying to see if we could save any thing. We were able to save a few things, but most was lost. Even if it looked like it was ok, the smell was so bad that we had to get rid of it. It was really hard to go through and see all of our stuff just gone. Some of the hardest things were the kids blessing outfits, the bed and other furniture that Vern built and the piano that I got from my mom, that was from 1910. Those are the things that are irreplaceable. My pioneer woman cookbook was soggy and once again the smell was awful! That smell brings back so many bad memories! So anything that we could not get the smell out, got thrown away. This next picture is what is left of the blessing dresses. There is a little piece of Gracies, a piece of lace from Leahs, mine is the blue one and Isabelles has the most left.....

This was a blessing! I thought it had gotten burned. The rest of the kids foot prints were in a different spot. The paper is burned and I am soooo glad it did not get the little feet! These are Mayzies :)
This is the bowl and cup that were Verns when he was a baby. The cup was broken, but the bowl was fine, except it has black on it..
A HUGE miracle!!!!! I was able to save most of my pictures. They were in a container under a table in my room, they were a little protected. We peeled them apart and let them dry on the grass. They are not in perfect shape, but I am so glad that I still have them!!!
Lets just say, these were my favorite bowls and I tryed to save them, but the smell and black would not come out :( It was worth a try right! It's just Tupperware, so I will be finding more :)

The Tree

Spring Break

We had a fun spring break this year. We went and spent a few days down at moms and the kids had a blast! They always do! We mostly just hung out and let the kids play. We Found a Place...

We finally found a place to live! We are really excited! We looked all over and the place that fit what we were looking for the most was in Veyo. It is a house that is on 6 acers. The kids are so excited to have space to run and play! I am so ready to have my own space and give Verns parents their space back! It is going to be strange moving into a house with out our old things. It will take some getting used to. I am trying not to think of all the things we lost and just focus on all the good things that have happened over the last few weeks. We have been so blessed and I feel so grateful and blessed! I don't know how else to word it. I am just filled with gratitude for all the wonderful things that have happened! This experience has made me want to be a better person. I have a much greater love for people and see so much more good all around me! We know some of the greatest people and I am so thankful that they are a part of our lives!
We will be moving into our new place next week. I am looking forward to it so much! I have lots of pictures that I want to post, but haven't had the time. As soon as we get settled, I will get them up. Once again, THANK YOU all for all the love and support!!! We could not have done it with out you!!

The Day of the Fire..

It has been a crazy few weeks! I had a few minutes to get on the computer and I wanted to do a quick post, to document what has been going on. 2 weeks ago it was just like any other night, we had just gotten done doing our Saturday running around and Tricia and Emma had come over. I was making fish tacos and invited them to stay and try them. We were just cleaning up the mess and we had sent the kids down the hall to get in the shower. Emma was at the sink doing dishes when she noticed the dishwasher sparking. So Vern opened it up and it smelled like something electrical and when he tried to start it again it wouldn't. So my first thought was great! Now we are going to have to get a new one and it was the one thing in the house that worked really well! At the same time the fire alarm went off and Gracie came out of the bathroom and said she smelled smoke. So while Vern went to see what was going on, Tricia, Emma, and I were in the kitchen trying to figure out why we could see a light flickering, when there was no light to flicker. Then Vern ran out the back door and Emma followed. They immediately saw that the water heater was on fire and yelled for us to get the kids and run out side. (This is all happening with in minutes) So I grabbed Mayzie and because the kids were getting in the shower, Daniel had nothing on and so Tricia grabbed a pair of pants for him and he headed out. Leah had a shirt, but no pants and she grabbed a towel and the other two were still dressed. Vern was out back trying to put out the fire and Emma called 911. Tricia was able to grab the dogs from the back yard and we ran them over to Amys. I stood there bare foot on the street, tears streaming, with all my family watching the fire take over and I just felt so grateful that we were all safe! I could not imagine loosing one of my children! The stuff that is in the house is just stuff and eventually we can replace it, but family is priceless and I am so glad we all got out!! I know that the lord was watching over us! From the time the dishwasher sparked to the time the fire was shooting out the front door was only about 5 min! We later discovered that the light that we could see, was coming from a hole in the ceiling above the washer.......it was the fire burning in the walls! I can't believe we didn't smell smoke! Standing there watching it burn was so hard! All I wanted to do was get my pictures and thing like that. I could not stop the tears! I couldn't believe that our house was on fire and everything was gone! At the same time I felt so blessed that we were ok. The fire men that were there were so great! I am have a new appreciation for them and for our fire alarm! It really did save us! That night I knew we had family to comfort us, but I had NO idea the out pour of love that was going to come from all over! It has been non stop since this has happened. The next day Shiree and Duke came from Orderville with a truck load. My mom and sisters came with loads and ladys from our Little Valley ward showed up with truck loads. As well as family from up north and complete strangers that we don't even know, that just heard and wanted to help. The amount of love and support from all over has been so over whelming! It has made me want to do better in my life and realize how much more I need to be doing to help others. This has been one of the hardest things we have been through, but the blessings that have come from this have been so incredible! Sometimes it still feels like a dream and all day long I will think of things that we had and don't have, or little things I wish we had. But they are just things right? Neither Vern or I sleep that well right now, but I know over time it will get easier. I am so grateful to Verns parents for letting us stay with them. This kids can stay in their same school and it helps have some sort of normalcy. We have crowded them out, but they have been so wonderful about it! We got to go and stay with my mom for a few days last week for spring break. I am so grateful for the sacrifices our families have made! The kids are adjusting pretty good. They get a little nervous when a light flickers or something, but for the most part they are doing well. I don't like to see the house and I will hate that burnt smell forever! I will never forget all the good people who have been there for us! There have been so many that I couldn't name all of you! So here is a HUGE thank you!!!!!! We love all of you!

There is now another bank account set up for the Seely family for those who don't have access to a State Bank. It is at Wells Fargo under The Seely family fire fund, and the account number is 3292114331. Again, all donations are greatly appreciated, and will help them tremendously!!
