Christmas 2010

We had so much fun this year! Ammon and Mariah got to come, which has been lots of fun! We all slept at our own houses and then came over 1st thing in the morning. It is so fun to see the kids faces when they see the tree and all the presents, especially when you have more than one family there, so there is alot more! It is so fun! Before we opened presents, we said family prayer, which was a really way nice to start the morning.

This picture is foggy, because it was so cold outside and warm inside.....but I still like it!
All the kids minus Lex...we were waiting for them to get there.

Mayzie loves her doll! She kept looking at it and then giving it kisses :)

These two dressed up and played with the kitchen and dishes all afternoon.
Grandpa was a good babysitter...
Tobin being cute!
These guys played and had fun all day too!
These two have so much fun together! They are always doing something! They got on the treadmill and got it going to fast, so Daniel tried to turn it off and it took a few layers of skin off his leg and a little off his head. Love this picture!
It has been a wonderful Holiday this year! We have so much to be grateful for!! One of them being family! It is such a blessing and I am so thankful to be close to so many of them!!!

Christmas Eve

One of the kids favorite things to do on Christmas Eve, is the Nativity. It has become such a fun tradition and I look forward to it every year! Leah and Ethan got to be Joseph and Mary this year. Gracie, Daniel and Royden were wise men. Isabelle was the Shepard, Sophie was the angel, Chance was a donkey, Mayzie was the baby Jesus and Lex and Tobin were backups :)
Our baby Jesus wore pink this year..

Gifts from the wise men..

The nativity always brings the spirit of Christmas in and reminds us why we get to celebrate this wonderful day! I love it!!

Christmas Time

Since we live close to Amy, our kids want to be together all the time! They have so much fun! Royden came over to play with Daniel and I got this picture of them playing the computer. Daniel has his shirt on backwards, because he likes the picture on the back better and he wanted it on the front :)

Hanna came over the other day and Rebekah thought the swing looked so fun! She kept taking Andrews Binky and trying to get in with him. After we took him out, I look over and there she is enjoying herself =) Look how happy she is! Such a cutie!!

Gracie and Leah are such good help with Mayzie! Gracie got her to go to sleep...
I love my village! Every year I look forward to getting it out! The kids like it too, sometimes too much!

I love these carolers! Verns mom got these for the kids last year instead of a tree ornament....I like em!

Oh Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree from Costco this year. It is such a beautiful tree! The kids decorated it and I think they did a great job :) I also got this fresh wreath and I love it!! Our house smells like pine! I love Christmas!!!

The Hat

I was going through some boxes and found this hat. I put it on her head and I had to take pictures of her :) She makes the funniest faces!

My Dad and Our Girls Weekend

This last week has been a little scary for our family. My dad was bucked off a horse and had a really bad concussion, 6 broken ribs, and some bleeding on his brain as well as several bumps and bruises. He was life flighted to Las Vegas and was there for several days. I gathered the kids and we said a prayer for him. I believe in the power of prayer so much! I felt at peace and knew that he would be ok. We did find out that he is going to be fine, but he will be sore for a long time. It is really hard to see him in pain! He is such a tough man and it is not easy to see him hurting. My mom is such a strong woman! She held it together and looked so beautiful when we got there to see him. She is always so positive! I want to be more like her. I love you mom and am so glad dad has you to take care of him! I am so glad he is ok! We love you dad!!
We had our girls weekend and decided to still go and have a good time, plus we were able to go and see our dad. We had a lot of fun! I am so glad we were able to go! I love my sisters so much and feel so blessed to have them in my life! They are such good examples! I love spending time shopping and then laughing all night! I have not laughed so hard in a long time!!! Love you guys so much!!

Dinner

We had the most awesome home teacher in our old ward! He came every month and he was tons of fun! His wife Alison was wonderful too! The day after we moved they invited us over for dinner. We had a great time! Our kids have such a blast together! We will miss being in their ward! We love you guys!!Isabelle loves this dress and Alison has had our kids over alot while we were moving and every time they went she would wear this dress and the shoes. SO Alison let her have it and she wears it every day! I have to talk her into letting me wash it :)

I loved her tree! She had huge bulbs and it looked pretty!

One More Move....Done

This move has been one of the more difficult ones we have made. When we first moved into this beautiful house, we thought it would be our last, for a LONG time. It had everything we were looking for. Plenty of space, lots of room for the kids to run and be free, and a big garage for Vern. But as life would have it, we were not able to stay. We were feeling like we were going backwards and starting to wonder if we were missing something. Here we thought we were right where we should be and then we figure out that we are not. I am still not sure where are are supposed to be, but I know that Heavenly Father will continue to guide us. I can't wait until we find it!! But for now we have found a "beautiful" double wide to live in :) I was so worried that the kids would have a hard time adjusting to a new school again, but they have loved every minute of it! They come home every day so happy and saying how much they love their new school. It has been such a relief!! I am sure it helps that they get to go with Ethan :) Having Amy two houses down has been really nice! This move has been a bigger adjustment for Vern and I than for the kids. We are so blessed to have a place to live and a place that the kids enjoy so much!

Here is the place we call home for now...
The kids laying on the tipped couch the night before we moved.
We had soooo much help on moving day! We had several trucks and 4 trailers full of our stuff! It was a little crazy! The guys showed up first thing in the morning and had everything loaded in 2 hours! Then they all jumped in and followed us to the new house and helped unload there! They were awesome! It made our move so much better! We loved our ward over there and will miss it terribly! We made some good friends and it will be hard to not see them all the time! We also had lots of help from our families. They are always there to support us and I know we could not do it with out them!!!

Heading to the next house..

All Smiles!

Yesterday, a wonderful sister in my ward wanted to take my kids for the day, so I could get more things packed up. At first I thought I was loosing all my helpers, but these two slept so good!! I got so much done! I usually feed and change one and then switch to the next. Well after I got done with both of them, I thought I would lay them down and take some pictures of them together. I had no idea that Andrew, who is 2 months old, would smile so much! I knew Mayzie would, so it was fun that they both were! I had so much fun!

Look at how cute they are! Can you believe that Mayzie is 2 months older?
